Champions League Final…
was between Barcelona and Arsenal, the former ran out 2-1 winners, following Jens Lehmann’s sending off for a ridiculous foul outside his area.
I watched the game on Wednesday in “The Pub” prior to heading down to Hardy’s Well were the post-hockey revellers were residing. Mia, Rosy, Nick & I went for a curry at Spicy Hut, before heading home.
On Tuesday I played football as usual. Nothing else of interest happened, though I should mention that in Monday’s game I scored a sweet left foot volley. Very nice.
Thursday I stayed late at work before trapsing off to “The Old House at Home” quiz, a break from the norm, though we finished 3rd, so in the end normality was resumed.
I also ordered a few things from amazon, in one of my quarterly splurges on “Stuff”. Coming my way, in a few days, will be a few books, a few CD’s (including Idlewild), and a few DVD’s (including The Mighty Boosh). Classy.
Today is Friday, but I have no plans.
You may have to let me know when the Boosh arrives, I need to see the bits of season two that I missed. I still think that the Boosh evening discussed at curry is the best. idea. ever.
