ok, the early week has been as humdrum as usual!
Monday
Montopia or a Mondastrophe ?
neither, but I did get to play footie in the evening. We lost by a few but I played decently enough and scored two beautiful goals.
Tuesday
Tuedalicious or Tuesaster ?
neither, but I did get to play poker in the evening, down the decidedly seedy Grosvenor casino, just north of Victoria.
The game was fun, a £5 rebuy, and I did well (4th/18). Briefly, some rememberances:
* The Dealer. She was purty.
* The madman next to me, who spent around £100. (average was around £20, I spent a tenner.)
* Going out on the bubble (sadness)
* Finishing at 1am.
* Just the plain seediness of the place!
Wednesday
Wedserific or Wedsorific ?
neither, but I did play at the student poker thing, having my aces broken early - which is no fun. I went home and watched the footie.
Thursday
Thuraputic or Thuressful ?
neither, though I *am* still at work (715) with a little bit more to do before I’m popping off to the quiz.
