2006!
Happy New Year!
2005 was a very good year; Memories involve:
* European Cup
* Ashes
* Leeds Festival
* Bern
* Go-karting
and so many more….
Roll on 2006, Reading, Estonia and the World Cup immediately spring to mind!
I have resolutions, but they will not be related here, or in any form of public domain.
The water leaky thing fixed itself, which is nice, I reckon it was something to do with the ice, so I’m going to be very careful when it comes to going away next winter!
Done some marking, but need to do a whole lot more - the next two days will probably be a write-off… :/
As for new years eve itself, went on down to asda and spent a ton (literally) then had Linden, Ed, Adrian and Emma over in the evening.
We eventually went down to some random party on Wilbraham Road, but knowing no-one there (well, ok, we kinda half knew *two* people) Adrian, Emma, Rosy and I decided to go back to ours and see in the new year ourselves.
We did, and I can report that the very first thing we did (after dancing around and drinking cheap fizzy hangover inducing wine) was to play poker.
Linden and Ed came back and then left around 3 (Tame!) Adrian and Emma left shortly after, and I went to bed around 430…. the house is a mess and I’ve a headache, but I don’t really care!
