Beer Fest (2) - Twice
I thought I’d get this post done seperately to the weekend post, simply because this weekend included the Go-Karting which I’m going to mark as a “Major Event”
Also, I’ve edited the date (it is actually the 14th today) so that I can get all the posts in the right order!
Anyway…
I’ll keep this brief:
Thursday & Friday : went to the UMIST beer fest. I don’t remember much about what I drunk (though on friday I had some awful concocion first that lead to my next three drinks all tasting the same) and I got a free glass.
Beer Wise Thursday was the best day as they’d started to severly run out on the friday!
People wise, Friday was the best cos most of the good people from thursday (Mahinda, Linden, Ed, Alsion et all) had turned up on the friday and were joined by Jez, Kate_s, Rosy, etc… sorry if I’ve missed you out. Kebabage on the way home!!
Adrian & Emma pulled out at the last moment though (Weak!)
Friday I didn’t bother going into work as I tidied the house and picked Jez up from the station, I was also hectically sorting out stuff for the weekend… a write up of which (which will mean this post gets pretty much ignored I reckon) will follow…
The concocTion was Hyde’s Insulation, I believe. I had just a taste of it and I tasted nothing else for half an hour.
This was the night were I felt light-headed from the get-go and was nearly sick after less than 5 pints worth of beer….

The Insulation was my favourite!
I’ve yet to rediscover my beer list, which has marks out of ten.
