Right, if anyone’s still reading, the reason for the drastic down turn in joke quality (those who know me well will know it’s not too drastic a downturn) is because today I went to see the Dentist.
This is quite a major event because I haven’t been to the Dentist since my parents moved to Kuwait, which was in 1998! No particular reason why it took so long; I just never got round to it and always seemed to be moving around (pretty typical really).
anyway the trip was a good ‘un though I’m still non-plussed by the spikey thing they did into your teeth and gums and apparently I have “Very good teeth” but I need 1 filling (I’m opting for a “White” Filling - quite expensive!) and a “clean up around my lower arch” as I can’t clean properly there (due to “overcrowding”) so I’m back over there on Thursday next week. Wish me luck!
The rest of the day was fairly typical. Went into work late because I’ve been sorting out this go-karting trip in November - and I knew I’d be around work til 630 with footie at 7. Footie was average - not a great game in all honesty - not helped by the fact that I played like a big spoon (it does happen once in a while!) I’ll be back to me best for hockey on thursday, don’t you worry.
